The second season of the BMW M Festival Asphalt  9 Series is ready to begin as registrations are now officially open.

Season 2 will operate exactly like the first, with players racing in one of three qualifiers each week. The top 10 racers per week will qualify for the Grand Finale scheduled for 6 November, where an additional R25,000 prize pool is up for grabs. So strap in, get ready and prepare to race to the front of the pack for your shot at glory! 

Season 2 

The season will be run on the Android version of Asphalt 9. 

The qualifier will be run from October into November. Below are the registration dates and tracks: 

Week 1 (Track: Rome - Complete Tour)

Week 2 (Track: Cairo - Scenic Route) 

Week 3 (Shanghai - Peoples Square) 

How It Works

  • Select the week and day you want to compete via the landing page (you may only participate in one tournament per week)
  • Sign up on the tournament page (you need to be logged in to your ACGL account) and enter your Asphalt 9 Player ID
  • On the tournament day, you will be messaged with which of the day's two-time slots you will be competing in - either 18h30 or 20h30
  • 15 to 30 minutes before the race start, you will receive an invite to the club you will compete in
  • The tournament admin will create the race at the scheduled start time and will start as soon as all players have joined (if all players do not join it will start after 10 minutes)
  • Once three races have been completed, your best time will be added to the leaderboard

Entry Requirements

The official car of the BMW M Festival Asphalt Series - The BMW Z4LCI E89 

  • Only the BMW Z4 LCI E89 (with no restrictions on upgrades) is to be used. No other cars are allowed
  • You will be invited to join the specified ACGL club. You will be removed after your races are completed
  • You must have enough gas tanks to compete in the three races
  • Please note that the series is only open to residents of South Africa
  • Previous winners (1st - 7th) are strictly not permitted to participate in Season 2

Seasonal Prize Pool

The R25,000 per season will be distributed as follows:

  • 1st Place: R10,000
  • 2nd Place: R7,000
  • 3rd Place: R3,000
  • 4th Place: R2,000
  • 5th Place: R1,500
  • 6th Place: R1,000
  • 7th Place: R500
