Quick Rules

HOW IT WORKS

  • The hosting player must host a DUO game session.
  • The host will then invite his/her opponent to the game session and then begin their match.
  • If you are unable to invite your opponent(their epic id does not exist for example), contact them either via the match page or discord to ensure you have the correct spelling. If you are still unable to send them an invite, it could be due to problems some players experience with cross platform invites. To resolve this, wait a few minutes and try again or search your opponent's email address instead of their epic id
  • All matches must be played on EU/European servers

HOW TO WIN

  • The player with the most kills at the end of the TWO game sessions will be awarded the win
  • If there is a tie in kills, a third map will be used to determine a tie breaker
  • Survival time will be the decider in the case of a tie in the 3rd game
  • If a player downs someone and the other person bleeds out after the player dies, the kill will be counted towards the score of that player.

PROOF REQUIREMENTS

  • We recommend that each player take screenshots/video of their own and their opponent's total kills at the end of every game
  • In the event of a dispute, the accusing player will be given a max of 15 minutes(from the time the score was reported/dispute was made, whichever comes first) to provide the requested proof, with exceptions being made at an admin's discretion
  • For disputes on sabotage, both players will be requested to provide their point of view of the incident. Screenshots will not be accepted
  • Proof must be uploaded either to your match page or the ACGL Discord chat. Alternatively, upload your video to https://streamable.com or screenshot to https://imgur.com and post the URL in the match page

Matches

  • Please note for all forfeit or dispute claims that evidence must be submitted to an ACGL admin for a ruling to be made.
  • Only communication via the ACGL Discord chat lobby, Match Discussion and ACGL Personal Messages will be accepted.

Teamwork:

Teaming is allowed. However, players that have queued up together are NOT ALLOWED to contribute/cause the death of the player(s) they're competing against within that queued game session. This includes but is not limited to, destroying structures, causing a fall, etc.

Sabotage

Players MAY NOT destroy any bases made by their opponent, make them fall, or any other actions that may help lead to that person's death. Sabotage also includes:

  • Breaking or weakening opponent's built or non built structures or cover by any means
  • Causing opponents to miss shots or miss opportunities for advancing their scores
  • Building in front of your opponent
  • Boogie Bombing your opponent

Players caught doing so will be forfeited from their match. Exceptions to the above may be made by an admin to ensure fair play.

Grace Period

A Team will Forfeit the Match if they are not present by 15 minutes after a Match’s default start time (Grace Period). Teams will be forced to start a Game at the end of a Grace Period.

Delays
Teams may not delay the start of a match beyond its scheduled start time, without the approval of a tournament official. Teams may delay a match between games for up to five minutes. Teams can request that a tournament official enforce this five minute time limit. After five minutes of a tournament official enforced delay, if the delaying team does not have the minimum required players, they will forfeit the match.

Default Start Time

All round one (1) matches have the same default start time. All Matches have a standard start time that is listed on the Tournament Overview on the front page of the touranment. Matches must be started by their default start time and played until completion.

Teams that have not completed their matches before the scheduled start time of the next round of fixtures must contact admin via the ACGL Discord Channel
Teams that do not contact admin via the ACGL Discord channel will have their fixtures forfeit once the 'Grace Period' of the following fixture expires.

Double Forfeit

If a match is not played and neither team contacts the admin requesting the forfeit or win, both teams will be knocked out of the tournament.

Seeding

Teams will be seeded according to their game XP at of the close of registration. Seeds are done in ascending order. The higher seed is determined by the team with the seed closest to zero (0).
Example: Seed four (4) is a higher seed than seed ten (10).

Drop locations:

If your team lands at a location, you are accepting all outcomes that come with dropping within that area. Including lag, glitches, etc.

We will not replay any matches pertaining to lag or in-game glitches. There may be exceptions to this case and will be at the admin's discretion.

Disconnections

If a player disconnects before landing, the game should be replayed.  All players must leave the match to end the game. If the player lands and then disconnects, the number of kills you had will stand however your disconnection will be treated as the time at which you died.

Hosting

The Host is the Player who must create the Custom Game and ensure that the proper Settings and Map are used. The Host should set their party player limit to match the number of players for the specified match. (Example: Squads for a 2v2 match.)

The higher seeded team at match time must host all matches.

If the host incorrectly ends a game, their team may forfeit the game.

No Shows

All no shows must be verified by a tournament official. The No Show grace period time is 15 minutes after the match's original start time. For example, if a match is scheduled for 10:00 PM, the no show time for this match would be 10:15 PM. In order to contact a Tournament Official use the Discord Live Support.

Time Limit

Teams must report the match results within 10 minutes of its completion. Failure to report the match results on time or respond to any messages that you receive from a tournament official may result in your team receiving the loss.

Report Match Score

Please report the match results on your match page which can be found under the Bracket Tab on the tournament page .To report the match results, teams must report the match score accurately, with overall kills being reported. In the event of a tie, the match should be reported as 1-0 in favour of the team that lasted the longest/got the final kill.

Outside Players

After the match lobby has been created, only eligible players on the two teams and staff members may be invited/join. If an ineligible player joins a game, the game must be ended if the player affects the game and/or doesn't leave within 30 seconds of joining. If a Player is found to have invited an ineligible player to a game, they will forfeit the game.
