Overview

All Participants must check in prior to Tournament Start in order to compete

Format: Best of 3

Minimum Entry: 8

If more than 16 players enter, the tournament will switch to a single elimination best of 5. 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Entry: 4 Participants
  • All entrants must reside in Sub-Saharan Africa
  • All entrant must be in the ACGL Room in Injustice 2 (Room name: ACGL)

    Players are entitled to  one connection  test match - this must be exlicitly stated before match is started. 

Schedule:

All Round 1 Matches are scheduled to start at Tournament Start Time

After Round 1, all Matches have a unique default start time that is dependent upon the time at which the Teams’ previous Round results were submitted. Matches must be started by their default start time and played until completion. Postponing matches is only at the discretion of Online Tournament staff.

Round 1 (Winners Bracket Round 1): 19:00 

Round 2 (Winners Bracket Round 2, Losers Bracket Round 1): 19:30 

Round 3 (Winners Bracket Round 3, Losers Bracket Round 2): 20:00 

Round 4 (Winners Bracker Round 4, Losers Bracket Round 3): 20:30 

Round 5 (Losers Brack Round 5): 21:00 

Round 6 (Losers Bracket Round 6): 21:30 

Round 7 (Losers Bracket Final): 22:00

Grand Final: 22:30 

Please note the losers bracket final winner is required to beat the winners bracket final winner in two rounds of BO3 in order to win the tournament. The Winners Bracket Final winner only requires to defeat the losers bracket final in one BO3.

  • Competitive Mode: Enabled by both players 

Match Procedure

The following steps outline the process of playing a Match.

  1. Players select their sides.
  2. Players select their characters. Either Player may invoke Double Blind
  3. Character Selection.
  4. The players play the first Game of the Match.
  5. The losing player of the preceding Match may choose to change characters and variations.
  6. The next Game is played.
  7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for all subsequent Games until the Match is complete.

Side Selection

Players may mutually agree who sits on the left and right side, corresponding to Player 1 and Player 2 respectively. If Players cannot agree, the match host.
