R60,000 in cash up for grabs in rally action

South Africa, 9 September 2020 – African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) is pleased to announce the Toyota Esports Challenge played on World Rally Championship 9 (WRC 9).

This series features R60,000 in cash sponsored by Toyota South Africa, and will be operated via the ACGL site.

WRC 9 racers across PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be welcome to submit their stage times over the course of four weeks to secure a place in the cash final. Racers can already sign on the Toyota Esports Challenge hub on ACGL, with the first week of submissions opening on 14 September.

Each week, a new stage and restrictions will be announced, and racers can submit their times to secure the weekly top spot, and their place in the final showdown on 14 October.

Each week’s submissions will open on Monday at 10h00 and close on Saturday at 22h00. Competitors will be allowed to submit as many times as they want, with only their best time allocated to the leaderboard. All times submitted must be completed with a Toyota Yaris.

Full details on how the time submission works, FAQs and the event’s Terms and Conditions are all available at: https://acgl.co.za/toyotaesportschallenge

Additionally, we have a copy of the game up for grabs! The winner will win a digital version on the platform of their choice. To enter the giveaway, entrants must have an ACGL account. Make sure you are logged in to your account and click this link. It is as simple as that - you are in the draw.

We also have a brand new avatar kit for you to use on your ACGL profile. The new 'Racing Driver' avatar is available for all our users to use and show support for the Toyota Esports Challenge on WRC 9!
