It's time to put your thinking caps on as the strategists are about to be rewarded. Thanks to a newly built system, we at ACGL are happy to announce our new Team Fight Tactics (TFT) and Underlords series which starts this week! There is R1,000 per game and the title of being the best strategic mind in League of Legends and Dota 2, respectively, up for grabs. 

**UPDATE** Due to requests, we will be extending the matchfinder and ladder period with the finals delayed. Finals dates updated.
 

The brand new Free-For-All Matchfinder

Due to the TFT and Underlords being based on a system that requires eight players in one lobby, we've had to move some gears and shift some levers in order to accommodate the two titles. 

How it works:

  1. Players go to their game page at the time the Matchfinder opens.
  2. Click 'search' in order to find a match. 
  3. Once eight players are found, players will be placed into a lobby.
  4. The host (as indicated on the match page) must add and invite the players. The host will always be the highest-ranked player.
  5. The match must be started by the host within 15 minutes. 
  6. The host may not leave the game but we advise that all players remain to confirm the score. 
  7. The score will be input by the host, players may confirm or reject the result. 

Score Keeping:

  • 1st: + 40 points 
  • 2nd: + 30 points 
  • 3rd: + 20 points 
  • 4th: + 10 points 
  • 5th: - 10 points
  • 6th: - 20 points
  • 7th: - 30 points 
  • 8th: - 40 points 

TFT Thursdays

The match finders will open every Thursday at 18:00 and close at 22:00.

The top eight players at the end of the Series will be placed into a best of three, using the same scoring as above, to compete for the title. 

  • TFT Thursday Dates: 25th of July, 1st of August, 8th of August, 15th of August and 22nd of August
  • TFT Finale: 15th of August 29th of August

Prizes: 

  • 1st: R500 + Golden Spatula Achievement + Golden Spatula Avatar Item 
  • 2nd: R250 
  • 3rd: R150
  • 4th: R100

Underlords Wednesdays

The match finders will open every Wednesday at 18:00 and close at 22:00.

The top eight players at the end of the Series will be placed into a best of three, using the same scoring as above, to compete for the title. 

  • Underlords Wednesday Dates: 24th of July, 31st of July, 7th of August, 14th of August and 21st of August
  • Underlords Finale: 14th of August 28th of August

Prizes: 

  • 1st: R500 + Underlord Crown Achievement + Underlord Avatar Item 
  • 2nd: R250 
  • 3rd: R150
  • 4th: R100
