This year we are working with the ZA Gaming Alliance Facebook group, Computer Mania and MWEB to bring the PC stage to life. Cougar Gaming will be providing the gaming peripherals needed to compete. Thanks to the support of Computer Mania there is also a ACER Predator Helios Laptop worth R18,999 up for grabs.

For those looking to test out their skills in a variety of games over the weekend, head to the ZAGA PC stage where Dota 2, League of Legends, CS:GO, PUBG and maybe a surprise title or two will be played. The idea is to encourage participation or even spectatorship and the tournaments will be social by nature but there will be winners. And those winners will be able to walk off with products valued at around R21,000. You won't have to compete if you don't want to, because just being around at the right time will put you in-line for some goodies. This is thanks to the "tons of SWAG" from brands such as Corsair, ASUS, MSI, Acer and more.

On Friday and Saturday, Dota 2, CS:GO and PUBG will feature on rotation through the day. While Sunday will see League of Legends replace Dota 2. On the stage will be ten PCs ready for participants to compete at in a first-come-first-served fashion. The ZAGA admins will be on hand for a number of challenges and for Facebook group members to troll. Or just say "hi" to. For those not members of the group, you are still welcome (and encouraged) to join the action over the three days.

Win a Laptop

For those wondering how they can bag the ACER Predator Helios Laptop, you will need to:

  • a) be at the event, and
  • b) be willing to do a little treasure hunting

Details of how you can win will be posted via the EGE, Computer Mania, ZAGA and our social media from Thursday.

If you're keen to win a PlayStation 4, then there's a chance to do so with Good Hope FM. Details of that giveaway can be found here.
