Following season one of our PES 2020 online series in December 2019, we are pleased to announce season two for fans of Konami's eFootball title.

On the line in the second season is another R5,000 in cash. As with season one, the competition will be played online and exclusively on PlayStation 4. We have however, altered the format for this season. Loadshedding is an ongoing concern in Southern Africa, and to accomodate times, phase one in the competition will be round robin groups. Players will be able to arrange their matches at times that suits both competitors. This will then be followed by a knockout featuring the top players from the groups.

Registrations for the second season of the eFootball PES 2020 series are now open. They will close on 15 March 2020, with matches kicking off on 16 March.

The group phase matches will need to be completed on 12 April, with the playoffs scheduled for Sunday 19 April.

Prize pool

The prize pool will be divided between the top four players as follows:

  • 1st - R2,500
  • 2nd - R1,500
  • 3rd - R600
  • 4th - R400

Format

It should be noted that the number of groups will be determined by the total number of players. Group sizes will not be bigger than eight players each. At least the top two players from group will proceed to the double-elimination bracket.

Tournament rules and additional information is available via the registration page.
