We are pleased to announce the details of event two in our AfrEsports series. This follows on the first event we hosted in February at Sun Exhibits in GrandWest.

As with the first event, we will be bringing a variety of tournaments to life over the first weekend of September with cash and products up for grabs. Attendees can also expect to gain access to spectate and shop at the various vendors for free, while participants in the various tournament titles will be required to purchase a pass for the game of choice.

Alongside the more 'serious' tournaments, we will be hosting a number of quickfire 'King of the Hill' events, a fastest lap competition, game demos and more.

Over the coming days we will be detailing and opening registrations for the various tournaments and activities. Rest assured you can expect the usual suspects like FIFA, Call of Duty and fighting games, along with a few surprises (and not so surprises).

The AfrEsports event is structured to welcome competitors of all skill levels, as well as those still finding their feet in the growing world of esports. This will be achieved via a number of secondary tournaments over the weekend aimed at those wanting to dip their toe into the competitive scene but who worry that only the ‘pros’ will be at the major tournaments.

A R50 Day Play Pass will be available at the door for those wanting to compete in a variety of smaller tournaments which will offer limited cash prize pools and products.

There is a free entry pass for those attendees only keen to spectate and support the event, its partners and vendors.

Additional information can be found on the AfrEsports page which will go live soon.
