Quick Rules


  • Find an opponent by clicking on Find Game during the allowed matchmaking times.
  • You will be placed into a queue, once a valid opponent is found you will be placed into a match
  • Go to your match page to contact with your opponent.
  • Message your opponent on the matchfinder to get their PSN or XBL ID


  • Gametype: Online Friendlies
  • Half Length: 6 minutes
  • Controls: Any
  • Game Speed: Normal
  • Squad Type: Online
  • Draw: In the event of a draw, the game must be replayed until a result is determined.
  • The participants are allowed to play with any team available in the game.
  • All participants must use the preset EA Formations.


  • Please note for all forfeit or dispute claims that evidence must be submitted to an ACGL admin for a ruling to be made.
  • Only communication via the ACGL Discord chat lobby, Match Discussion and ACGL Personal Messages will be accepted.

Final Score

Only the score which was reached after 90 minutes (+stoppage time) is official. Only goals which Fifa detects as goals count as goals. If you miss and Fifa says it's a goal, then it counts.

Player Ratings

Modifying the rating of a player (for example, change the rating to 99) is punishable with six (10) penalty points and one (1) month tournament ban.

Grace Period
A player will Forfeit the Match if they are not present by 10 minutes after a Match’s default start time (Grace Period). Players will be forced to start a Game at the end of a Grace Period.

Players may not delay the start of a match beyond its scheduled start time, without the approval of a tournament official. Players may delay a match between games for up to five minutes. Players can request that a tournament official enforce this five minute time limit.

Default Start Time

Matches must be started by their default start time and played until completion.
Players that have not completed their matches before the scheduled start time of the next round of fixtures must contact admin via the ACGL Discord Channel
Players that do not contact admin via the ACGL Discord channel will have their fixtures forfeit once the 'Grace Period' of the following fixture expires. 
Double Forfeit

If a match is not played and neither player contacts the admin requesting the forfeit or win, both players will be knocked out of the tournament.

Outside Players

After the match lobby has been created, only eligible players and staff members may be invited/join. If an ineligible player joins a game, the game must be ended if the player affects the game and/or doesn't leave within 30 seconds of joining. If a Player is found to have invited an ineligible player to a game, they will forfeit the game.

No Shows

All no shows must be verified by a tournament official. The No Show grace period time is 15 minutes after the match's original start time. For example, if a match is scheduled for 10:00 PM, the no show time for this match would be 10:15 PM. In order to contact a Tournament Official use the Discord Live Support.


If a player disconnects the match should be continued from the point of disconnect.


The Host is the Player who must create the Custom Game and ensure that the proper Settings and Map are used. The Host should set their party player limit to match the number of players for the specified match. (Example: Player Limit 8 for a 4 vs 4 match.)
The higher seeded player at match time must host the first game. The lower seeded player will host the second game. This will alternate until all games have been played.
Hosting players should create the custom game. As the hosting player changes over the course of a match, the new hosting player should leave the custom game and create a new one. A lag test should be performed before the start of each game to ensure all players have an acceptable player to player connection.
If a player's connection to the server becomes unreasonable during a game, the game must still be played. The lag incident should be reported to tournament support immediately following that game.

If the host incorrectly ends a game, they may forfeit the game.


In the event that lag occurs, the game should be completed. The player(s) that are experiencing lag should take video proof, and provide it to tournament live support after the game has concluded. If lag is occuring, it is recommended that multiple players provide proof of the lag. Leaving the game prematurely may result in a forfeit of the round or game. 
Time Limit

Players must report the match results within 10 minutes of its completion. Failure to report the match results on time or respond to any messages that you receive from a tournament official may result in the player receiving the loss. 
Report Match Score

Please report the match results on your match page which can be found under the Bracket Tab on the tournament page .To report the match results, players must report the match score accurately, with overall maps won being reported.



ACGL has the right to decide outside or even against the rulebook in special cases to guarantee fair play.


The official language of ACGL is English. All players should be able to communicate in English.


All players are asked to behave in a humane way towards other competitors and ACGL admins; treat others as you would like to be treated! If a player is found guilty of misconduct by an administrator, they may lose Rep or even banned from events. Teams also risk forfeits or bans from ACGL tournaments.

Insults and offensive behaviour

All insults that happen during a match or on the ACGL platform may be punished. This includes in-game chat, Discord Messages and Match Discussion. Insults that happen on external messengers are not taken into account.


The excessive posting of futile, annoying or offensive contributions within the ACGL platform is considered as spamming. Spamming on the website (match discussion, disputes, etc) will be penalized.

Internal Texts

All texts written in either dispute or support requests, or written by the administrators to members of a certain league or tournament, cannot be published without the permission of ACGL.


Apple Inc. is not in any way, shape or form a sponsor or partner in any tournaments hosted on this platform.


Participation in prize tournaments, unless otherwise explicitly permitted, is not allowed for employees of ACGL, its subsidiaries or partners, or employees that are in some way connected to a respective tournament including sponsors, publishers or game developers.


Should we deem that your online connection is regularly in conflict with others or too unstable to fairly compete against others, we may blacklist you. Blacklisted players will be forfeited from their current matches and will not be able to queue in our matchfinders. Players that have been blacklisted can be unlisted by contacting an admin and providing proof of a valid connection.

Matches, competitions, meetings

In all competitions there should be a fair playing field for all players.

Every encounter, whether a elimination, ladder, round robin or other competition must be played according to the rules until it is complete and the result entered on the website. Any encounter that did not take place, should be deleted. In the case of matches that are not completed in a knockout tournament, the win will be awarded to the highest seeded team.

Game / client

In general, all programs which are not part of the original game, including custom-data and modifications, are not allowed in any ACGL game. All external voice programs are allowed (e.g. Teamspeak, Discord etc.). Scripts and changes to the game's configuration are not allowed, unless they are partly or completely allowed by the tournament specific rules. Programs that provide an advantage during game play (e.g. drivers that allow the removing of walls) are forbidden. Any programs that change the game itself are forbidden.

Game Coverage

ACGL reserves exclusive right to the coverage of ACGL matches. This includes all forms of transmission, including Shoutcast-streams and TV Broadcasts. ACGL can assign the coverage rights of a match or of several matches to a third party or to the actual players themselves.

In general, ACGL will contact any player or team if they wish to broadcast one of their matches. If no contact is made, individual players are allowed to arrange their own broadcasts. Should the game take place on a server that ACGL administrators have no direct access to, it must be made sure that enough slots are available for the according clients.


Spectators(such as casters/coaches) are allowed only if both teams agree. Exceptions to these rules are ACGL admins and people that an admin has approved. Any disputes on spectators must be made before the start of the first map, you cannot dispute spectators after the match has been played.

Personal Streaming

Personal Streaming is allowed.




When registering, each player must provide up-to-date and correct contact information and it is the player’s responsibility to keep this up-to-date. In most tournaments, a game account relating to the game being played is required to sign up or check in to that tournament. It is up to players to ensure that this account is unique and up-to-date. Players are only allowed to play ACGL matches using the game account on their profile.


Each player competing in ACGL tournaments must only have one account. If a player cannot access his account and then creates a new one, then he/she must contact an ACGL Administrator either via the website or Discord explaining in detail the reason for not being able to access the account.

If a player deletes their account because of low Rep points and registers a new account, the Rep points will be transferred to the new account. Furthermore additional penalties will be added for the attempted deception.

Nicknames, Team Names and URL Aliases

We reserve the right to edit Nicknames and/or URL aliases, if they fail to comply with the following requirements.

Nicknames/aliases are forbidden if they:

  • are protected by third-party rights and the user has no written permission
  • resemble or if they are identical to a brand or trademark, no matter whether it has been registered or not
  • resemble or if they are identical to a real person other than themselves
  • resemble or if they are identical to the names of ACGL employees
  • are nonsense

In addition to the above, any nicknames/team names/aliases that are purely commercial (e.g. product names), defamatory, pejorative, offensive, vulgar, obscene, anti-Semitic, inciting hatred, or offending against good manners are forbidden.


A team's name does not have to be unique, but ACGL reserves the right to refuse teams with the same or similar names as a well-known team.

Names which are restricted by law will be changed and the team captan will loser Rep. Names which go against all forms of etiquette and good manners will also not be accepted.

The logo must represent the team and have some reference to the team's name or to the team's short handle. Copyrighted logos, or logos which go against etiquette and good manners will be removed.

Players in team

A player may only play for one team in a tournament or league. The only players allowed to play for a team are the players listed under that team on the match page. 


For specified tournaments, sub players will be allowed. These players are not required to check in and will also not receive any XP at the end of tournaments. They will be listed along with the core roster on the match page.

Changing team names

A team can change its name at any time. This also applies when a team is restructured. Changing a team's name in order to fool other teams is forbidden and the team captain will lose Rep.


A player's country must be set to their country of residence(the country they are currently residing in). Deliberately faking the country of residence is punishable.

If a player's country of residence is changed in order to join a league/tournament, they will be punished. If the player does so and plays in a team match, the team will get removed from the tournament/league.


ACGL tournaments/leagues are prohibitively for players that reside in Sub Saharan Africa: Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo (Brazzaville), Congo (Democratic Republic), Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Réunion, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Western Sahara, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Hosting rights for private matches/tournaments/leagues will be given to South African players.
Exceptions, however, can be made. Please consult the tournament page for tournament specific information.


ACGL administration reserves the right to prohibit or remove teams with sponsors or partners that are solely or widely known for pornographic, drug use or other adult/mature themes and products.



Breaking any rule and any form of cheating, glitching, abusing in-game mechanics, or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in a forfeit of a game, match, or ban from ACGL. Punishable unsportsmanlike behavior includes, but is not limited to, excessive use of foul or degrading language. All accusations must be verified by a tournament admin. In order to contact a tournament admin either dispute your match or use Discord. For all cheating claims, the burden of proof is on the accuser.

We highly recommend that proof is taken with the console's built in recording system to gather proof. At least one member of each team should take a video or screenshot(s) of each game’s results in case proof is needed for a dispute. All proof should be clearly visible and contain the game score, all players on both teams, and a time stamp.


Teams may request that they be allowed to concede victory of a game. Teams may request that their opponent not receive a forfeit penalty. A tournament admin must be contacted with these requests. In order to contact a tournament official use Discord or dispute your match.

Match Fixing / Betting Fraud

Engaging in any action that improperly influences the outcome of a game or match by any means is stricly prohibited. Breaking this rule could lead to players/teams being banned for up to 2 years, forfeiting all prize money, a monetary fine and if discovered before the end of a tournament, disqualification.


Any kind of doping is forbidden. Mild cases of doping will be punished with a warning and a loss of Rep for the participant. Severe cases (i.e. use of drugs containing performance enhancing substances, like Adderall) will punished as followed: Results voided, ban of between 1 and 2 years, forfeiture of prize money (if discovered before the end of a tournament, disqualification).


The attempt to deceive admins or other players with wrong or fake statements, information or data will not be tolerated and will be punished accordingly.

Manipulation and Bribery

Players/Teams found bribing or attempting to bribe an ACGL admin or trying to manipulate the competition will be punished accordingly.


In order to dispute game results, players must notify a tournament admin either via the website or Discord. The dispute must be logged either before the match, during the match or no longer than 15 minutes after the end of the Match.

Dispute Evidence

In the event of a dispute, please also provide your video/photographic proof. The issue must be clearly stated as well as the time in the video in which the issue occurred, and/or what the tournament official should be looking for in the picture/video. 



Evading a Tournament or Servere Site Ban

Any player found evading a site ban or one related to online tournaments will be forfeited. If that player participates in a team-based tournament, that team will forfeit the matches that were played. 

Account Sharing

Players are forbidden to allow others to play in tournaments in place of them by sharing game accounts. The offending team will forfeit the entire match.
Modified Console/Hacks/Mods

Use of a modified/jail broken console, in-game hacks and/or mods will result in the immediate forfeit of that team. The player(s) using the modified console, hacks, and/or mods will be suspended from ACGL for up to a year(365 days). The rest of the team will be suspended for up to a month (30) days.


Players may not use a Turbo controller or a Button Macro controller. Turbo controllers allow Players to press a button that results in their Character performing a set of actions that would normally require the Player to press the same button multiple times. Button Macro controllers allow Players to press a button that results in their Character performing a set of actions that would normally require the Player to press multiple buttons. Teams using the ineligible equipment will forfeit the match it was used on. For all console tournaments, the use of a Keyboard/Mouse is stricly prohibited.

IP Flooding (DDoS Attacks)

Performing or assisting with a DDoS attack of your opponent will result in immediate disqualification of that team. All players on that team will be suspended from ACGL for up to a year (365 days).


Lack of Cooperation

Failing to comply with a tournament admin's directions and/or requests may result in the forfeit of a game or the entire match.  Verbal or written abuse of a tournment admin will result in a ban from ACGL for up to a month(30 days).


The following penalties may be enforced by a tournament admin: Loss of Rep, A Game Forfeit, a Match Forfeit or an ACGL Site Ban for a specified duration. Penalties may also be combined with other penalties.


Tournament admins may issue a warning for infractions including, but not limited to, the use of profane words or phrases, discussion of controversial religious topics, threats/implied violence, lack of punctuality, and failure to follow tournament staff instructions. All warnings and penalties are given to the team, not the individual player. Teams may also be warned or incur a penalty for repeated warnings in regards to the same rule. Depending on the severity of the action or conduct by a player, multiple warnings may be handed out for a single infraction, up to and including bypassing warnings and resulting in an immediate penalty.


Some infractions may result in warnings and penalties being bypassed with immediate disqualification from the remainder of the Tournament being enforced. Examples of behavior or actions that could result in this are physical acts violence, cheating, collusion/manipulating the bracket, drug/substance abuse on-site, any illegal activities, betting or gambling on a tournament or match results, hate speech, and harassment.
